The mastermind behind PV-Bau4you
Dietmar Allig is not a corporate manager, but an inventor with a clear goal: to build solar technology the way he himself would have wanted it.
From the dissatisfaction with existing solutions, the idea for PV-Bau4you was born: translucent instead of opaque, wood instead of metal, understandable instead of complicated.
We are still at the very beginning – and we know that. What remains is our aspiration: to provide honest advice instead of just selling, and to empower people to take their own power supply into their own hands.

As PV-Bau4you, we think about sustainability from construction onward: Our wooden substructures
store CO₂ instead of releasing it during production, and our
translucent modules allow terraces, gardens, and areas to continue to thrive instead of shading them.
This is precisely our understanding of ecological responsibility in terms
of ESG – not as a certificate, but as a construction method that we implement every day.

Solar power should not be a luxury. With modular PV systems that can also be installed by the homeowner, we make photovoltaics more financially accessible for private households – without compromising on the quality or lifespan of the modules.
Sustainable Consumption and Production
We rely on wood instead of metal, on a 30-year linear performance guarantee instead of
short life cycles, and on materials that can be recycled at the end of their life. Quality
that is designed to last for decades, not just for the next season.
Clean water and sanitation
With our irrigation management, we combine photovoltaics and water use: storing, filtering, and automatically deploying rainwater where it's needed – powered by the electricity from your own system. Currently under development.
Sustainable Cities and Communities
Whether it's a roof garden, communal area, or terrace: Our translucent
PV canopies generate electricity without shading the space below – thus transforming
unused spaces into livable, green places, especially in cities.
Climate Protection Measures
Every installed system replaces fossil-generated electricity – and our
timber substructure actively stores CO₂, instead of releasing it during production as is the case with
metal frames. Climate protection that starts with the
material itself.
No hunger
With agri-photovoltaics, we are developing solutions that combine energy generation and agriculture on the same area – electricity from above, harvest from below, without one displacing the other. A topic of the future that we are actively working on.
